Newly Admitted Attorney Apprenticeship Program

Description

Chung, Malhas & Mantel, PLLC is seeking a recently admitted Washington State lawyer to join its Litigation Department as part of  its Attorney Apprenticeship Program. This is a paid position wherein the selected candidate will be trained and afforded the opportunity to represent clients and assist senior attorneys in complex state and federal civil/criminal litigation matters. This position is tailored for a newly admitted attorney with the desire of gaining practical training and experience in drafting pleadings and motions, engaging in discovery and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate for the position is committed to representing clients’ interests zealously, has adopted solid work ethic and recognizes the importance of producing quality work product. Candidates that are bilingual are encouraged to apply.

Time Commitment & Term of Apprenticeship

This is a full time position lasting for a period of 15 months with the possibility of extending into a formal offer of employment as an Associate Attorney with the law firm upon completion.

Compensation

Annual salary of $30,000.00; this includes malpractice coverage.

Educational & Licensing Requirements

Candidates for the position must have graduated from an ABA approved law school; have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or above in their legal studies and have been admitted to practice law in the State of Washington.
